Lisbon Wedding at Palácio Nacional de Queluz – Lara & Fabricio
Lara and Fabricio’s wedding celebration in Lisbon, Portugal blended European elegance, Brazilian warmth, and high-fashion modernity. After first meeting as teenagers in the South of France, life eventually brought them to Switzerland, where they built a shared life centered around travel, design, and wellness. After a quiet civil ceremony in 2023 they hosted a three-day destination wedding in Lisbon. With Portugal’s cultural ties to Brazil and a guest list spanning continents, the weekend showcased Lisbon’s range: a golden-hour beach party at Praia Irmão, an intimate penthouse welcome soirée, and a Rococo palace wedding at Palácio Nacional de Queluz reimagined as an open-air celebration under the stars.
Designed by the visionaries at Sofia Nascimento Studios, their celebration effortlessly merged historic grandeur with contemporary, fashion-forward energy, creating a wedding that honored their story, their heritage, and their impeccable sense of style.
THE CEREMONY AND CELEBRATION
Surrounded by white and green florals designed by Sofia Nascimento Studios, Lara and Fabricio exchanged vows in the palace gardens. Bridesmaids wore gowns in tones and silhouettes of their choosing—an expressive, global, fashion-driven palette that reflected the couple’s creative circle.
Sunset aperitif in the gardens with live music by The Phly Boyz , evoking relaxed Riviera glamour.
Dinner in the gilded ballroom: custom monogrammed napkins, white florals, and candlelight echoing ornate interiors.
After-party in a custom-built open-air “club” – mirror balls and flowers and Brazilian DJs Enrico e Carmo , the atmosphere evolved seamlessly into a big party.
FASHION & DETAILS
Lara’s fashion journey throughout the three-day celebration was a curated by a stylist Lula Romero as an expression of style and intention – from her sculptural metallic Rabanne mini dress and Ana Rocha & Apolinário statement earrings at the Praia Irmão beach party, to the timeless drama of her Vivienne Westwood gown with signature corsetry at the penthouse soirée, accented with jewelry she designed herself.
On the wedding day, she walked the gardens of Palácio Nacional de Queluz in a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown crafted through multiple visits to the Milan atelier: light, refined, and couture in its quiet elegance.
For the late-night party, she transformed once more, stepping into a sparkling hooded gown by De La Vali, a bold and modern finale to her unforgettable bridal wardrobe.
